Less Than 48 Hours To Go!

Our trip to Trujillo is less than 48 hours away. We are excited, anxious, nervous, and blessed for the opportunity that we have to impact the lives of others while sharing the word of God. During our time at Little Hands Big Heart (LHBH), we are going to take on a few different projects as we add to the therapeutic playground.

The primary project is to build a tunnel for the kids to play in. This tunnel will be wheelchair accessible and tall enough for an adult to walk through it. We will add drapes to the ceiling, so that it will seem as if the tunnel is smaller than it is. There will be two, 2 1/2’ pipes coming off of the low side of the tunnel. These will allow the children to crawl through a much tighter space. The high side of the wall will be made into a rock wall, made with different types of holds, for the children to climb and build strength. We will also be making rain wheels, a drum set, and xylophone. All three of these will be useful tools, that will aid in the development of the children’s senses. These items will be placed on the tree house, that will be completed later this year.

The team is excited to see the work God will do in our lives and the lives of those that we meet over the eight days we are in Honduras. There will be many memorable moments during our trip, but I pray each member will use this experience to realize how blessed we are. The stresses and worries we have here at home, are miniscule compared to the things that others deal with daily around the world. With this, I pray that we can use our abilities and talents to positively impact the lives of as many people possible. We ask for your prayers of safe travels and good health, not only for our team, but for all missions that will take place during spring break.

God Bless,

Tanner Wesp
