First Day at H.O.I.

Today we traveled on a bus to Rancho Paraiso, near San Estaban. On our drive, we got to see the vibrant greenery and mountains that make up this beautiful country. We ran into some trouble on our way to the ranch with a blown tire but it gave us the opportunity to explore where we were and get to know the other group that is here from Texas.

When we arrived later this afternoon, we had lunch and the began to prepare for our first day in the elementary and middle schools. We have several exciting STEM projects to do with each grade. Now we are taking it easy, all our materials are prepared and packed up, and tonight we find out more details about the school we will be going to in the morning.

I am excited about these enriching opportunities for the children we will be working with tomorrow and learning about how we can bless others with our work now and in preparing for the future.
