Got it Done

Long day.

Worked hard.

Got it done.

As the sun went down and lightning storms speckled the horizon we flipped the switch on the control box. Red lights and lettering blinked to life. This is the moment we had been working for. Adjusting the settings to reduce the power requirements we waited for the dosing pump to engage. Minutes passed with no sound, no change. Finally the dosing pump kicked on and we heard sewage gushing through the system and trickling down into our new clarifier tank. We had worked hard for this moment but were almost too tired to celebrate. In the back of our minds we knew that the real test will unfold over the next few days as we watch and see if the solar system can handle our pumps running at the new reduced rate.
For now though, we will get some rest and recover from the past three exhausting and wonderfully blessed days.
Praise God for health and safety today as well as allowing us to get along as we worked towards a common goal. I respect these two men immeasurably and couldn't be prouder to work along side them. God has cared for us with generosity and we ask for prayer over the coming days. That they would be fruitful both in our work but also in our spiritual walks as we are able to take more time for reflection.
