First Day, Fun Day

Our first full day in the Village of Hope has been a wonderful experience. The first portion of the day was spent taking a tour of the village. This tour gave us an in depth look at where the children here live and go to school. Later in the day, we tested water rockets for the STEM project that we will be doing with the students further along on the trip. Finally, our day came to a close with a church service.

Throughout every aspect of our day, we spent time building relationships with the people here. For some, this came through seeing old friends from trips in years past. For others, like me, many new relationships began today.

From implementing the water sanitation project to spending more time with the Ghanaian people, I am so ecstatic to see the amazing ways God will work through the rest of this trip.
