This Spring Break we have a stellar team heading with the Peugeot Center to assist ADICAY in installing a water distribution center for the village of Setzimaaj.
These are their stories (Law and Order dun duns).
Alex Butcher
Classification: Junior
Hometown: Rossville, GA
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “Sugar We’re Going Down”- Fall Out Boy
Bio: Alex is a Junior Civil Engineering major from Rossville, Georgia. Alex is part of the ASCE Concrete Canoe Team, and when he’s not in Fields Engineering Center he can often be found riding his bike across campus, hiking, watching cooking videos on YouTube in his dorm, or hanging out in his adopted hometown of Chattanooga. This is Alex’s second time getting to serve with ADICAY. He is very excited to be returning to help in Setzimaaj and can’t wait to see how God will create a relationship between the team and the people who live there.
Taylor "Cornbread" Sanders
Classification: Senior
Hometown: Murfreesboro, TN
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “Mississippi Girl”- Faith Hill
Bio: Taylor is a 5th year senior and has been on many different mission trips with the Peugeot center. However, this is his first with trip partner ADICAY and also on a water project. In his free time he enjoys being outside hanging out with friends and working on different small projects.
Kelsey Zetterberg
Classification: Freshman
Hometown: Loveland, OH
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “Beautiful Soul”- Jesse McCartney
Bio: Kelsey is a freshman mechanical engineering major from Cincinnati, Ohio. In her free time you can find her at a local coffee shop or hanging out with her friends. This is her first trip with engineering missions and she's super excited to see how God works in her and the team in Guatemala!
Jericho Locke
Classification: Senior
Hometown: Fresno, CA
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “My Humps”- Black Eyed Peas
Bio: Jericho is a senior mechanical engineering and applied mathematics student graduating this May. Jericho has been active throughout Lipscomb engineering and the broader campus, but his largest passion lies in engineering missions. This will be his third trip to Guatemala interfacing with ADICAY.
Lauren Kemper
Classification: Junior
Hometown: Murfreesboro, TN
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “Photograph”- Nickleback
Bio: Lauren in a junior civil engineering major. In her freedom Lauren enjoys denying her love of Kentucky during football season only to take it all back during basketball. She also is an active member of the Lipscomb Ultimate Frisbee Team and is currently President of the Lipscomb University ASCE. This is Lauren’s first mission trip and she is very excited to be joining this team.
Bibiana Perdomo
Classification: Freshman
Hometown: Murfreesboro, TN

Bio: Hey! My name is Bibiana Perdomo and my major is Civil Engineering. I love to learn about new cultures and try new activities. One of my favorite activities is to go scuba diving in Punta Cana.
Daniela Rodriguez
Classification: Team Leader
Hometown: Murfreesboro, TN

Bio: Daniela is a civil engineer in the water resources department at Civil & Environmental Consultants in Franklin, TN. She became involved with engineering missions in 2013, and has been hooked ever since. In her free time, she enjoys cooking knitting, hiking, skiing, and other cliché outdoor activities. Daniela hates small talk and loves spending time with her friends over a cup of unnecessarily expensive Nashville coffee.
Dr. Kirsten Dodson
Classification: Team Leader
Hometown: Tullahoma, TN
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “Since U Been Gone”- Kelly Clarkson
Bio: Dr. Dodson is an assistant professor in mechanical engineering at Lipscomb and also serves as the Associate Director for Research and Education for the Peugeot Center. She participated in her first engineering mission trip when she was a junior at Lipscomb and has been travelling to Guatemala ever since. This will be Dr. Dodson’s 5th trip as a team leader and she is excited to work alongside Adicay again to serve in the Setzimaaj community. In her spare time outside of engineering mission trips, Dr. Dodson enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Leia, adventuring in the outdoors, and travelling around the world.
Caleb Meeks
Classification: Team Leader
Hometown: Jellico, TN
Favorite 2005 Top 100 Song: “Wake Me Up When September Ends”- Green Day
Bio: Caleb is a mechanical engineer who works as the Associate Director for Program Development for the Peugeot Center. Caleb is very excited to see this project come to completion and looks forward reconnecting with ADICAY and the Setzimaaj community members. One of his favorite things about this trip is that we will be working with a medical team and get to see another way God can use people to bless people he loves.
